Exciting news! Islamabad Run With Us (IRU) is planning a backpacking trip right after Eid, from June 20th to June 26th (Islamabad to Islamabad). We are heading to the most beautiful and unexplored valley of GB: Khaltaro Valley. There are limited slots available, and a few female members are joining as well, so we highly recommend females to join us. Hurry up and secure your spot before the deadline (10th June 2024).Full Itinerary:
DAY 0 & 1 - Departure from ISB to Sassi
20 JUNE 2024
* 8:30 PM - Departure from I-8 Markaz, Islamabad to Sassi, Gilgit.
* Please arrive on time to avoid any delays.
21 JUNE 2024
* 5:00 AM - Arrive in Naran. Breakfast and leave promptly to cross the Babbusar Pass before the rush hour.
* 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM - Arrive in Sassi. Have dinner and check-in at the hotel for the night.
DAY 2 - Sassi to Khaya Meadow
22 JUN 2024
* CAMP NIGHT 1
* 7:00 AM - Breakfast at the hotel
* 8:30 AM - Start our journey on jeep from Sassi to Khaltaro hike starting point. (2 - 2.5 hours Jeep Trek).
* 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM - Begin the hike from Khaltaro bazar to Khaya Meadow (3 - 4 hours Hike). Night stay at Khaya Meadow.
DAY 3 - Khaya Meadow to 7 waterfalls viewpoint
23 JUN 2024
* CAMP NIGHT 2
* 6:00 AM - Breakfast at campsite
* 7:00 AM - Hike to 7 waterfalls viewpoint (4 - 6 hours hike)
* 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Arrive at the 7 Waterfalls viewpoint, set up camp and spend the night there.
DAY 4 - 7 waterfalls viewpoint to Khun Meadow
24 JUN 2024
* CAMP NIGHT 3
* 6:00 AM - Breakfast at campsite
* 7:00 AM - Hike to 7 waterfalls viewpoint (4 - 6 hours hike)
* 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Arrive at the Khun Meadow, set up camp and spend the night there.
DAY 5 - Last Day Hike & Return
25 JUN 2024
* LAST DAY HIKE
* 6:00 AM - Breakfast at campsite
* 7:00 AM - Hike back to Khaltaro and take a jeep back to Sassi.
* 12:00 PM - Arrive in Sassi and start the return journey to Islamabad via Babusar Pass.
* Either continue to Islamabad after crossing Babusar, or stay in Naran for the night and start the return journey early on the morning of June 26th.
DAY 6 - Back to Islamabad
* 26 JUNE 2024 - Return to Islamabad.

* Kiran is an avid trekker and hiker. She has completed the K2 Basecamp and Mount Everest Basecamp treks with her 10-year-old son and has experience with multiple technical treks in Pakistan.
