Today's market

June 7, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. EDT

Michael P. Reinking, CFA
Sr. Market Strategist

That being said, the month of May was very strong with the S&P 500 up nearly 5% reversing all of the April losses. As we’re really at the very tail end of earnings season, market focus squarely shifted to economic data this week, though the AI optimism continued.
